Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am. Not only does my hair look great, I am turning heads at 51 years of age. Still not used to having "great hair" and not used to people commenting on my hair, but something I will get use to for sure. Looking your best is always a good thing....but the confidence you gave me is incredible.
After bragging about you guys, my sister is flying up from the States, as soon as the snow melts. She has been all over the world with her extensions, and integration systems, (same hair as mine) and cannot believe what you do.

Dear Michael and everyone at Continental Hair,
I wanted to write to express my gratitude and let you know how extremely thrilled I am with my new postiche.
My hair loss began a year ago after going off the birth control pill. My doctor told me it was common, and hormonal, and would settle down after a few months. Unfortunately, it was the trigger needed to bring out Androgenetic Alopecia/Female Pattern Hairloss, which runs in my family. I'm only 24, so I never expected it would happen this early on in life.
After realizing that my hair loss was not going to correct itself, I decided to visit Continental Hair for a consultation. I was about to start a new job and wanted to look my best.
I could not have asked for a better experience. Michael and Jennifer took the time to tell me about the history of Continental Hair, how they find quality human hair, and what I could expect with a postiche. I was thrilled to discover that there was a postiche in stock, which was exactly my hair colour and length. When Jennifer and Michael put it on me and cut the bangs to match my hair, my boyfriend was amazed. "It looks just like the old you," he said.
When I got home that evening (proudly and confidently wearing my new hair), my mom asked me, "How was the appointment, when do you get it?" I stepped a little closer and said, "Mom, I'm wearing it!!! Can't you tell?" She was amazed! She actually had to pull a couple strands and ask me if I could feel it (in order to determine which hairs were my own and which ones were part of the postiche).
It has now been about a month and I feel like I've regained the confidence and the love for life that I had lost along with my hair. I can actually think about other things besides wondering, "Is my bald spot showing right now?" I dont think about that at all, because I know my hair looks amazing!!! I am so happy that I decided to go to Continental Hair. It has honestly changed my life for the better, and I am now back to enjoying my 20's instead of obsessing over how many hairs are in the sink every morning.

Thank you Michael, to you and your staff, for your fine service and understanding of a condition that is most pervasive Alopecia Areata.
Recently, I was at Continental Hair to have my new hair piece blown out and cut with my own remaining hair (due to Alopecia Areata), It was an enjoyable and fun experience as the staff are light-hearted and understanding. I left Continental Hair feeling fabulous and confident. Imagine my delight when I was browsing through Whole Foods at Hazleton Lanes, five minutes after leaving Continental Hair and I was approached by a man who said Excuse me Miss
you have beautiful hair. I was highly flattered and replied Thank you. He quickly responded No, really, I am a hairdresser
will you do a hair show for me? I smiled, and felt my eyes well up after hearing such a wonderful compliment from one of the best stylists in Yorkville, although I appreciatively declined his invitation.
I am so pleased with all that Continental Hair has done for me. I have visited other hair replacement professionals, but I felt that their products did not look natural, and would not have satisfied my needs. My recommendation to anyone suffering from any type of hair loss is to go directly to Continental Hair. Hi,
I bought an integration system back in January. My husband drove to Toronto from Montreal a few days before going to Florida. Well we are back from Florida and I just wanted to tell you that my hair is terrific. It looks and feels fabulous even on breezy days walking on the beach. I can wear headbands and even tie it back in a ponytail. Thank you again.

Thanks so much to you and Cora-Lee for being so wonderful with S. B. yesterday afternoon. She went to Continental Hair, thinking this could be another letdown. She was delighted to be leaving with such a lovely piece of hair. As you know, treatment for alopecia areata is difficult, and we have found no success so far. With the hair you were able to provide, she can feel normal again. If her condition worsens, we will certainly have you make her a bigger hairpiece or wig.
It was very reinforcing to meet other young women with the same or more hair loss, going about their daily lives with confidence. The two ladies who were in your building when we were there, helped S. B. see that she was not alone.

Dear Michael,
I wore my new hair for the first time at a neighborhood celebration attended entirely by people who see each other every day. That night the compliments flowed, and they haven't stopped. I am told that I look younger, prettier, fitter, thinner, or that my new hairstyle and/or hair color suits me very well. I think I've fooled everyone. I haven't had anyone peering at me suspiciously, or tugging my hair to see if it'll come off. I have had questions about what kind of hair products I use, and how long it takes me to style it. Fortunately, your stylist had concocted a story about a body perm that now serves me very well.
Because I have financial constraints right now, I don't wear the hair system very often. Instead, I've taken to wrapping a kerchief around my head (which I've also been told suits me well) and saving the system for special occasions. I've now worn it 18 times, and am ready to come in to learn how to clean it and to have it trimmed - it doesn't quite hang right on one side.
However, before phoning for an appointment, I wanted to tell you how thrilled I am. I look how I should look, and how I used to look, and I'm so grateful that these wonderful hair systems exist and that I have one. I'll have to wait until 2007 to order a second one, but after that I'll always have two. I shudder at the thought of anything happening to my one and only....

Purchasing wigs used to be so traumatic for me, and since coming to see you at your store/salon I have never felt so comfortable. Now buying a wig is not a terrible thing, I actually get excited to see how my hair will look once it comes in. I just wanted to take a moment to THANK YOU ALL again for helping me to find a wig I like. I never thought it would be possible, but the sense of renewed hope & have now for my life feels wonderful.
After leaving your shop, my husband & I actually went shopping and to lunch in Toronto before driving home. I was a little panic-stricken with how windy it was, but with the cut your stylist did, everything just feel right back into place. It was amazing and a great feeling!

 It has been almost 6 months since Kristina and I photocopied the "wig" section of the Toronto phone book looking for a store that could help Kristina buy a wig. Although her hair loss wasn't a total hair loss, her hair loss was very, very upsetting to her. She had been starting to avoid social situations and was upset about losing most of her hair before her wedding.
We of course decided to come to Continental Hair, and from the first moment we walked into your salon, you put both of us, but most importantly Kristina, at complete ease. You treated her with respect and took her emotional state totally in stride. You and your team stayed after store closing hours to accommodate us as we were from out of town, and were leaving for Thunder Bay the next day. This was really appreciated. I'll never forget how many times I "caught" Kristina looking at herself in store windows, and in mirrors the day we left your salon. She told me she finally felt whole again, and felt she would be able to face the world again.
Her fiancι met us at the airport when we arrived home and he told her she was absolutely beautiful. She has received many, many compliments, and quite a few people who she has met after her wig purchase had no idea that it was a wig. She was just a maid of honor at her best girlfriends wedding and her hairdresser had put Kristina's hair and wig in an "updo" and I think she looked absolutely smashing!! She hopes to wear her hair in the same style at her own wedding this July.
Kristina has been e-mailing for a while to another alopecia sufferer and referred her to you just in the last couple of months. Sharon is from Pennsylvania, (also a school teacher), and is very, very pleased with her wig.

Thank you so much for making this difficult time in our lives it a little more manageable. Lisa has returned to school with confidence and received only favourable comments about her new hairstyle (that being the wispy bangs). Thanks to her wonderful wig she is participating in all her regular activities (when she has the energy), including school, gym and her badminton club.
I haven't yet been able to convince her to take the wig off for sleeping, but she is wearing the hair net you provided which keeps the hair nice and smooth. She just doesn't like the feel of her head with the wig off. I certainly can't blame her so am not pushing the issue and just hope the wig will last until her own hair returns.
The nurses at Sick Kids were amazed with Lisa's wig and all wanted to know where we got it. Naturally, we recommended your shop with confidence!

This letter is to express appreciation and gratitude for the professional help given to me by you and your staff at Continental Hair. Your assistance in selecting the most suitable wig for me during the most difficult time in my life has been invaluable.
 The wig we decided on gave me the confidence to carry on with everyday activities, in spite of the fact that I was undergoing six months of aggressive chemotherapy. I could put my wig on and look like my old self, (even if I didn't quite feel like my old self)!
