Continental Hair offers the widest possible range of hair replacement services for women and men.
In terms of medical related hair loss, such as hair loss due to alopecia or chemotherapy, Continental Hair provides variety of choices depending on the client's needs and budget.
For women and men undergoing chemotherapy usually a full cap wig or hair replacement is required.
This is a problem that must also be handled rather quickly because the client will require something in a matter of a couple of weeks at the most.
Our line of synthetic wigs is what we describe as medical quality wigs, as opposed to fashion quality wigs.
These wigs are of a finer synthetic hair and the cap design is for someone with little or no hair.
The contour of a medical grade wig is not as deep as one for a fashion or religious wig, because there is no need for someone to hide any hair underneath it.
Many of them have the option of using a two-way medical tape to ensure security.
The very best of these wigs will be all hand knotted, which are much lighter and more comfortable than a fashion wig.
Also, because a fashion wig will only be worn on occasion, medical quality wigs use synthetic hair that can last longer under everyday wear.
The result is something that looks better, is more comfortable, and gives the wearer confidence in maintaining her privacy.
In terms of human hair wigs we have the option of European human hair wigs, which we carry in stock.
These are all hand made and use the most beautiful hair available for wigs.
The caps are designed to fit a scalp with little or no hair and can accommodate the use of two-way medical tape.
For clients with alopecia the above is relevant as well, but because this type of hair loss is not as transient time can be taken with a custom made wig or hair replacement.
Depending on the area, something designed specifically for you has a whole list of option, from partial postiche of a full cap, each made from a mold of the affected area and the hair being custom blended.
The hair direction and cap materials are also a consideration.
Nothing is left to chance.
The whole process takes from six to ten weeks, depending on the order.
Items like the above require the highest standard in service.

They will not be rushed and will make sure that you know exactly how to care for whatever you purchase before you leave.
Or they will not let you leave.
They cut your new hair on you and will always be conservative in their cutting.
They will use no clients as a subject for her own artistic creations.
Along with any styling, both Jacqueline & Coraly make sure you can be confident of the care they will take with you.
All cut ins are included in the price. You actually have two cut ins.
One when you first take possession of your hair.
And a second one within two weeks after that.
We do this in order to relieve the pressure of trying to get the exact cut and possibly cutting too short.
Corale & Jennifer like to leave things a little longer so you can get used to it and if needed trim it up later.
In terms of maintenance, Continental Hair offers washes and sets for all our daily wear clients.
We like to ask that clients leave their wig or hair replacement with us overnight, but understand that this can cause some problems.
If given enough notice we are able to do a wash and set in a few hours.
We will do re-cuts and trims on our wigs for a nominal fee.
We will do colours, perms etc on our clients own hair but only if they are our clients and are wearing our hair with their own.
We do not trim or cut items bought elsewhere.
