How does it work?
Only high quality human hair is used to deliver this non-chemical, damage-free system. Small un-detectable EuroLocs are used to attach strand-by-strand hair to your own natural hair to add length and/or volume.
Will it damage my own hair?
Unlike traditional methods of adding hair extensions, there is no glue, no bonding, no tension, no stretching or chemicals used in the application or removal process. With recommended care and maintenance, your natural hair continues to grow damage-free.
Will the hair match my colour and texture?
Hair is custom colour and texture matched to blend with your natural hair.
Can I colour, relax, or perm my hair?
Hair can be chemically treated as usual; a regular schedule of hair care maintenance is set up for each individual need.
How long will they last?
As with all hair extensions, it would depend on how rapid your own natural hair grows; as your hair grows, the hair extension grows along with it. Generally if you would like to wear the hair extensions once, they should last between 8-12 weeks, at that time you can have them removed. For most clients, you can wear the hair extensions indefinitely. If great care is taken in the daily use of the extensions, you will book a maintenance appointment every 6 weeks for a 2 hour session.
What is the cost?
Depending on each individual, costs range from $1400-$2600.
What is the first step?
A consultation appointment is needed to see if you are a good candidate for hair extensions. Once that is determined your hair will be color and texture matched. An appointment will be scheduled with a deposit of 50% of the total cost.
What if an extension falls out or becomes loose?
Occasional detachment of individual extensions is normal, sometimes with the link attached. Please keep them, do not throw them away, they can be re-installed.
Extension Haircare Instructions
- use only oil-free hair products.
- if using hairspray, use only alcohol-free sprays.
- when combing hair, always work from the bottom up securing the hair with one hand. Do not brush or comb hair upside-down.
- remove all tangles prior to shampooing. Wash hair in a downward motion. Use your fingers in a horizontal motion in between extensions to cleanse scalp. Do not mix hair together, do not wash hair upside-down, do not use a circular motion to lather hair, do not use hot water.
- when rinsing, rinse thoroughly making sure all residues are rinsed out, rinse with cool water.
- although the hair extensions are real hair, it is not root-based and does not receive the same nutrients and oils as your natural hair. Please be aware, the more you use heat on your hair, the shorter the life-span of the hair extensions. If you do use heat on your hair, use a low setting and apply a protectant on it such as Profound Priming Spray or Shinbi Heat Silk Lotion.
- at bed-time, braid your hair into a loose ponytail to the side. Do not sleep with wet hair.
- the average head sheds approximately 100 hairs a day, use a maintenance brush to free them and your finger-tips to keep hair extensions from twisting together.
- to prevent breakage, please be gentle when wearing hair extensions.
- just as your natural hair sheds, hair extensions shed also.
- failure to adhere to these directions will shorten the life-span of you hair extensions.
